It was the dark days of the pandemic , when I called my friend Kenny Zimmerman and I asked him if I could turn the Harlem Ave Lounge into a makeshift recording studio. Kenny replied "sure kid", ( I don't know why he used to call me "kid" as I was a few years older than he was!).  A couple of day's later I met him there and loaded in the gear. I then called my band,  Rick Kreher, Earl Howell & Mike Azzi . We recorded for the next 3 days and we were basically done. I took the tapes home to mix them. This CD is the final product of those sessions. I hope you will enjoy this. The legendary Harlem Avenue Lounge is closed. My friend Kenny Zimmerman has passed on. This music that was recorded there is a living testament of the place and the great times we had at the legendary Harlem Avenue Lounge.    This recording is dedicated to Kenny Zimmerman.
